Sir Kevin Sinfield’s 7 in 7: The Grand Finale Is Coming to Castleford

Castleford Tigers will welcome Sir Kevin Sinfield and the 7 in 7 team to the OneBore Stadium on Tuesday, 29 September – and we want thousands of fans to be there to show their support.

As part of 7 in 7: The Grand Finale, Kevin and his team will take on an incredible challenge – running an ultra-marathon every day for seven days, visiting all 12 English Super League grounds on their journey to the Betfred Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford.

Castleford will be Day Three of the challenge, with the team expected to arrive at the OneBore Stadium at around 1.30pm, having run from the York area.

Kevin's challenge will once again raise vital funds and awareness for the MND community across the UK and Republic of Ireland, with supporters encouraged to get behind the final 7 in 7 challenge.

This is a huge moment for the Rugby League family, and we want Castleford to give Kevin the welcome he deserves.

Castleford Tigers fans, Rugby League supporters and members of the local community are all invited to come along to the OneBore Stadium and support Kevin and the team.

You don't need to run – simply turn up, make some noise and show your support.

Kevin and members of the MND community will complete a mile around the stadium before the team continues its journey.

With potentially hundreds of people taking part and thousands expected to come out and support the challenge, we want to create an unforgettable atmosphere around the OneBore Stadium.

The OneBore Stadium facilities will also be open to the public, with supporters able to access the stadium during the event.

The 7 in 7: The Grand Finale is the seventh and final annual challenge undertaken by Kevin Sinfield to raise money and awareness for those affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

There are several ways to support the challenge.

The official 7 in 7 Limited Edition Challenge Range, created in partnership with OXEN Sports, is available now, including a special Castleford design.

20% of profits from the range will be donated to charities supporting people affected by MND across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
